
Kaitlin Mason, MPH, BSN, RN
Biography
Kaitlin Mason joined Global AIM in August 2024 as Project Manager for Ethiopia Studies. She holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in global health (2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2011) from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. As a registered nurse, Kaitlin brings extensive field experience from Bangladesh and Iraq, where she led health programs in refugee and conflict settingsāfocusing on capacity building and strengthening primary health care systems. Her expertise also includes coordinating phase I vaccine trials and controlled human malaria infection studies.
At Global AIM, Kaitlin manages the day-to-day operations of Ethiopia-based research projects, including protocol development, regulatory submissions, partner communications, and the design of study tools and training materials to ensure the successful implementation of maternal and infant health initiatives.
